Physical Medicine

Treatments are aimed at decreasing musculoskeletal pain, improving movement, flexibility, and strength. These may include soft tissue manipulation techniques, trigger point relaxation,  joint mobilization/manipulations (ie chiropractic-like adjustments), kinesio taping, cupping (traditional chinese medicine technique), gua sha, and a variety of physiotherapies.

In-office treatments are usually combined with prescribed movements/exercises and other naturopathic therapies to decrease pain and improve function, as well as reduce swelling, relax muscle tightness/spasm, and improve soft tissue healing.
