A growing body of research is validating mindfulness based stress reduction practices for a wide variety of health conditions. Incorporation of a daily deep breathing practice and/or use of a guided meditation is commonly recommended. Tai Chi and Qi gong practices are also encouraged to decrease stress/anxiety, pain, inflammation while improving quality of life, energy, and sense of wellbeing. In-office Biofeedback therapy using the HeartMath program is also commonly used.
