Dr. James Fialk, ND
Dr. James Fialk, ND, provides integrative naturopathic family medicine at Wellspring Natural Medicine in the town of Sebastopol in Sonoma County, California. Dr. Fialk also provides naturopathic care at Vista Family Health Center, affiliated with Santa Rosa Community Health Centers. Currently, Dr. Fialk is pursuing a doctorate in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine to further expand his spectrum of care.
In addition to naturopathic family medicine, Dr. Fialk has special interest in integrative oncology, integrative cardiology, and sports medicine. He collaborates with patients and their established MD specialist(s), functioning as part of the care team providing integrative naturopathic treatments. Dr. Fialk prioritizes keeping up to date on the latest scientific research and clinical guidelines.
Dr. Fialk has studied and practiced traditional western herbalism for 15 years. His experience with herbal medicine ultimately inspired him to pursue a career in naturopathic medicine. Dr. Fialk graduated with honors from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) and earned a certificate for advanced study in homeopathy. During his medical training, Dr. Fialk gained clinical experience as an integrative primary care provider throughout the greater Portland, Oregon area and completed a clinical mentorship program in integrative cardiopulmonary medicine at the Center for Natural Medicine (CNM). Upon graduation, Dr. Fialk was selected for the post-doctorate residency program at his alma mater, NCNM, where he received advanced clinical training.
Dr. Fialk is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA), Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP), and the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO).
